Nokia has official introduced a new entry-level smartphone, the Nokia 500. The colorful handset is running latest Symbian Anna and packs interchangeable back covers. Reportedly, the Nokia 500 is offering a refreshed UI, split-screen messaging, and a better browser.
The affordable touchscreen handset, Nokia 500 is boasts a 1GHz processor, and 2GB of built-in storage. The 500 phone has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 640 x 360 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, A-GPS, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps support, an FM radio, and a microSD card slot.
As connectivity, new Nokia 500 is brings a micro USB, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1. Dimensions of upcoming Nokia phone are 111.3 x 53.8 x 14.1 mm and weights 93 grams. Its battery is allowing up to 5-7 hours of talk time, up to 450 hours of standby.
The Nokia 500 will be available on market later this quarter (black version) and in Q4 (white). It will sell for price of €150 without taxes.
