HTC, Taiwanese smartphone maker, will release an updated version of its Sensation phone, the HTC Sensation Special Edition. It is likely an improved version of the high-end Sensation smartphone.
According to source, the heart of Sensation Special Edition is a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 dual-core processor (instead 1.2GHz CPU on ‘regular’ Sensation), 4GB of RAM (just 1GB on original Sensation), and 1730 mAh battery (from 1520 mAh).
The HTC Sensation Special Edition will bundle with high-quality headphones with remote control (Beats in-ear headphones). The cost of ‘special edition’ of its Sensation smartphone is expected £520 (~ $844).
Other specifications will remain unchanged that including a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution, 768MB of RAM, a 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 1080p high-definition video, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, gyroscope, accelerometer, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light.
